My friend Keith published his first book yesterday.
I don’t read too many business management style books and I would be a biased judge anyways, but it is getting good reviews. The best two that I’ve encountered are The Hard Thing about Hard Things by Ben Horowitz and Zero to One by Peter Thiel. These I would recommend to anyone trying to start something from scratch, or who is joining a small tech startup.

Keith’s book tries to be a little more generally applicable to a broader class of organizations while staying focused on the managerial aspects of building an effective team. Of particular interest to readers here, a lot of this book is about early Roblox. I’m pretty sure it is actually the first book about early Roblox written by someone who was actually there. I’ve occasionally toyed with the idea of writing a Roblox book also, but if I do mine will be an unfocused and wandering series of vignettes that lead nowhere while providing little insight. So you should buy Keith’s book instead.
