Brief personal update –
Everything is great! I’m flying to LA on the 12th and then driving back up to Stanford the 18th or so. While in LA, Jo and I have tentative plans to go to Disneyland, perhaps with Tammy. I’m not super-excited about going to Disneyland because I’m pretty sure I’m going to be too big for Tom Sawyer’s Island, and that might make cry and generally ruin my day. Furthermore, I get to escape my job installing WebSphere servers at IBM — tomorrow is my last day. On top of that, I finally heard back from the financial aid office, and it turns out that getting my masters is not going to bankrupt me, which is nice to know. Finally, there’s a good chance that Joanna will be coming home with me for Christmas, and that is super-exciting.
